Abstract: Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)is the main modulation technology of power line communication(PLC).However,its peak average power ratio(PAPR)will lead to nonlinear distortion of the system,deteriorated transmission performance of the system and higher bit error rate.Thus reducing the PAPR of OFDM system is the main research problem of this technology.In this paper,a modified scheme based on the MSLM algorithm by Wang et al.is proposed,which can produce more candidate signals and further reduce the PAPR of the system by applying partition one complex signals into two real signals and time-domain sub-block conversion matrices.The analysis and simulation results show that,under the premise of ensuring the BER performance,compared to the original algorithm,the modified scheme can reduce the PAPR of the system as well as decrease the complexity greatly.

摘要: 正交频分复用(OFDM)是电力线通信的主要调制技术,但其存在的高峰均功率比(PAPR)会使系统出现非线性失真,系统的传输性能也将变得恶化,增加误码率,因此降低OFDM系统的PAPR是该技术的主要研究问题。文中对Wang et al.提出的MSLM算法进行了改进,通过应用信号的虚、实部的分离和时域子块变换矩阵,可以产生出更多的候选信号,从而使系统的PAPR大幅减小。经过理论分析与MATLAB仿真,与原算法相比,文中的改进算法不仅减小了系统PAPR,降低了计算复杂度,而且保证了系统误码率(BER)基本不变。
